Recent allegations of sexual misconduct have emerged in the Telugu film industry, echoing similar issues in the Malayalam film sector. Notably, renowned choreographer Jani Master is at the center of this controversy.
A female choreographer has filed a complaint with the Raydurgam police, accusing him of sexual harassment over an extended period. In her complaint, the choreographer details multiple incidents of sexual assault during outdoor shoots in cities such as Chennai, Mumbai, and Hyderabad, as well as at her residence in Narsingi.
As a result, police have registered a case against Jani Master under IPC section 376 (rape), along with charges of criminal intimidation and causing bodily harm. The choreographer was on the run.
Today, Jani Master was arrested by the Cyberabad SOT after evading authorities for several days. He was apprehended in Bengaluru and is now being transported back to Hyderabad to face the charges. As the case unfolds, attention will turn to how Jani Master will respond to these serious allegations.
