India wins Silver in Champions Trophy Hockey

For the first time ever the Indian Hockey team has won the Silver medal at the Champions Trophy. India were beaten by defending world champions Australia 1-3 via penalty shoot-out to settle for their maiden silver medal at the competition. Only Harmanpreet Singh was able to score for India in the shootout. Australia won 14th Champions Trophy title, which is the most by any team in the competition.
