The ongoing Andhra Pradesh Assembly's winter session continued to be disrupted for the third day in a row over the Telugu Desam Party's no-confidence motion as well as the Telangana Rashtra Samiti's demand for a resolution on creation of Telangana state.
The House was adjourned twice on Saturday morning as the TRS and the TDP members surrounded the Speaker's podium on their demands while the Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen MLAs too were on their feet demanding a discussion on the law and order situation in the old city area of Hyderabad. The House was initially adjourned for 15 minutes but resumed only after 80 minutes. As the TRS members remained unrelenting, the Speaker adjourned the House for 30 minutes the second time and invited floor leaders of all parties for a meeting to break the deadlock.
