AP bandh helps whom?

 AP bandh conducted today by YSR Congress party was partially success. YSRCP managed to stop the RTC busses from moving out of the depos in many areas. But, it may realize that the timing of bandh was wrong because many shops and business houses were not opened today on the eve of Raksha Bandhan festival. Hence, people have not felt the pinch of bandh affect.

YSRCP president stated that bandh was conducted for the sake of the welfare of the state and people. He and his party senior leaders Botsa Satyanarayana, Vijaysai Reddy, Mysoora Reddy, Ummareddy Venkateswarulu and others keep monitoring and coordinating with their district level party leaders in successfully conducting the bandh. They apparently turned into event managers. Later, they calculate success rate of bandh and declared it was 100 per cent success.

Over all, it appears the bandh was conducted merely to showcase YSR Congress party strength to the ruling TDP and not actually intended to stress the state and central governments for special status. However, whether their bandh helps the state to get special status or not, certainly it helped YSR Congress party to usher its cadres and retain self confidence in the party cadres.
