AP and TS Governments struck with similar issues

The Jr. Doctors in Telangana state have been agitating since last three months. But, neither they nor the state government is ready to compromise. So, their strike is still continuing without any ray of hope. Telangana government makes it mandatory to work one year service in the villages and the Jr. Doctors are opposing its decision. Although, Telangana CM KCR threatens to debar the Jr. Doctors for six months from their medical course, he did not jump for such action as it will ruin their career and lives.

Now, the Jr. Doctors in AP state also began strike from Saturday. Their demands and AP government reaction to their demands is more or less same as in Telangana state. So, Jr. Doctors in AP state also declares that they will continue their strike until government agrees to all their demands.

So, both governments and the Jr. Doctors in both states are facing similar challenges from each other. The Jr. Doctors and the state governments can learn lessons from their counterparts on how to deal with this situation. So, if either of the government and Jr. Doctors could strike a deal, it can pave way for the other to follow the path. Since, AP CM Chandrababu Naidu is always prefers a soft approach while dealing with such challenges, probably his government may strike a chord with Jr. Doctors and it may turn yard stick for Telangana government to resolve its problems with its Jr. Doctors.
