As per the complaint filed by Santosha Roopa against her husband Vaitla Srinivasa Rao (director Sreenu Vaitla), he has slapped wife Roopa in front of kids and maid on October 12th. Also the director mouthed bad words and insulted Roopa and her parents. She mentioned in her complaint that from last 12 years, Vaitla is harassing her family. In her complaint she accused him of asking for additional dowry and also slapped IPC sections for harassing her mentally and physically. As the director repeated such hitting twice in the recent times, she took to police.
On the flip side, Roopa Vaitla shared with a leading print media that she hasn't filed any complaint against her husband. "I've not failed any such complaint. We both are happy in our space. Everything is just a media speculation", she added.
Police sources have shared that both Sreenu and Roopa have taken counselling from them, and then she has withdrawn her complaint.
