Bruce Lee Demand - There Is No Truth
on Oct 28, 2015
Apparently rumours have started doing rounds that "Bruce Lee" distributors are demanding the money back, as the film became a damp squib at box office. Few reports on published that the distributors are in fact staging a dharna at Film Chamber to make makers of the film pay back their money.
"Bruce Lee made 40 crores nearly in 10 days, while the film got sold at 56 crores. That means already 70% of the investment got recovered. In distribution business, all the time they will prepare for 30% losses, then what's the deal in Bruce Lee. Films like Lingaa have made distributors lose nearly 60% of their investment, so they have demanded a compensation. For now, no Bruce Lee distributor is making such a demand", said a source from Film Chamber.
Also they made it clear that no distributor is holding any dharna about the film's loss or anything.
