After dilly dallying around various names like Arnold Schwarzenegger, Amir Khan and Hrithik Roshan, finally the antagonist for Rajnikanth and S Shankar's magnum opus "Robo 2.0" is found. Unlike any expectations, Bollywood hero Akshay is called into the flick to show some villainy to Chittin and his scientist boss.
Superstar Rajinikanth’s Robo 2 shooting kick started the other day. Titled 2.0, the movie is a sequel of Robo, which is being made at a swash buckling budget 400 Crores, the highest for any film so far in India. British girl Amy Jackson will play the female lead opposite superstar Rajinikanth, which will be carved out by maverick director S Shankar. It's a revelation that Akshay Kumar is playing the role of villain in this flick.
While AR Rahman is scoring music, Nirav Shah is handling cinematography and Srinivas Mohan of Robo and Baahubali is the VFX supervisor.
