Prithviraj Chauhan was often considered as one of the most famous Hindu kings after Shivaji. Prithviraj has ruled the Delhi region during the 12th century. He is often remembered for his fiery battle against Muhammad Ghori. It’s now official that Akshay Kumar would be playing the role of heroic king in his next movie after Hera Pheri 3. The movie will be produced by the famous Yash Raj films and would be directed by Chandraprakash Dwivedi. Chandraprakash is well known for the serial Chanakya which was written, acted and directed by him. “It will be mounted on a huge scale. The team will also recreate the 12th century for it. Chandraprakash has been planning to make a movie on Prithviraj Chauhan for the last two-and-a-half years now. Akshay has been his only choice for the role. Aditya loved his storytelling and decided to back the project,” said a report from the magazine DNA.
