KTR Comes To Vedam Actor Nagaiah’s Rescue
on Jun 29, 2015
It took a cinematic twist in actor Nagaiah’s life as this grand oldman who played Sircilla Ramulu in acclaimed “Vedam” movie is seen begging on roads of Film Nagar.
Neither film biggies, nor Movie Artists Assocation or any other film related people have noticed his plight. When the same was shared on social media by few enthusiasts, Telangana IT Minister KTR has come to his rescue.
“Met 'Siricilla Ramulu' aka Nagaiah Garu today. Handed over Rs.1 lakh as assistance from my side. Also arranged for old age artist pension through Government. Spoke to Rajendra Prasad, president of MAA to assist him. Nagaiah incidentally is native of Guntur”, said KTR today, after handing over the cheque to Nagaiah. There are no words from film celebrities to express as KTR did an unthinkable.
Many celebs are busy tendering a big thanks to KTR from their side. In the advent of clashes between Telangana and Andhra politicians and people, a Telangana Minister helping out a poor Andhra guy is something awesome. Humanity has no boundaries, religion and region.
