Nag says ‘Big’ thanks for Manam
on Jun 27, 2015
King Nagarjuna is quite happy that his film “Manam” bagged five Awards at the recently concluded 62nd Filmfare Awards (South). What could be more honouring for a classing that enthralled Telugu audiences last year. Not just the subject of re-incarnation which was always a hit with Telugu audiences, but the whole of emotional screenplay gave a new experience altogether.
It is KS Vinod’s Cinematography what deserves a special mention for carving out this classic as visual treat. For that reason Filmfare honoured him with Best Cinematography. Music scored by Anup Rubens is also a wonder and he walked away with Best Music trophy. Lyricist Chandrabose has shown his pen power as the song Kanipinchani Ma Ammake song is a smashing hit for both tune and lyrics. So the Black Lady went to him. Director Vikram Kumar’s vision of roping three generation actors is a great idea than anything else. So, he’s the Best Director. On a whole, “Manam” has all qualities to become “Best Film”, isn’t it? So King Nagarjuna grabbed the trophy as a producer.
Sharing a picture from the awards night, Naga thanked everyone for “Manam”.
