Prathinidhi is a story that runs on a social cause. Nara Rohit plays the role of a common man who kidnaps the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh for a cause that it revealed in the course of the film. There is a thrill and puzzle that prevails throughout the film. Nara Rohit puts forward demands that could never be fulfilled by the government although the CM is kidnapped. The soul of the story runs in a single room. What is the suspense ? What is Nara Rohit fighting for ? Was justice given to the victim ? Was the goal achieved or not forms the rest of the story. In the meanwhile, every citizen who watches this film will question him/herself whether they are perfect or not.
Analysis :
Prathinidhi is not a film based on politics although a lot of politicians are involved in it. Instead Prathinidhi is a factual movie that reveals the reality of public and government. The responsibility of every single person including a leader is explained in a common man's language. The movie runs in the same mood throughout the end and the momentum is also balanced in the same way.

Performances :
Nara Rohit did not get to portray action, comedy or romance in this movie. Instead, he got to showcase a role that only involves talking. In this regard, Nara Rohit did a great job at showing realistic acting throughout the film in ease.
The heroine didn't really have much to do but the girl did add some color to a film like Prathinidhi. Nara Rohit's childhood friend got a pivotal role in the film. His presence was felt everywhere. Posani Murali Krishna did a great job as a police officer with his regular beeped profanity. Kota Srinivasa Rao, the Chief Minister had some questions to ask throughout the movie, but it was not a strong role to notice.
The rest of the crew did their job as they were guided.

It is a neat film and there ain't no complaints about the camera or portrayal. There were not many locations in the film making it even simple.
Direction :
Prashanth Mandava is sure to acquire critical acclaim because of this film. The intense thought of directing a film like Prathinidhi can be appreciated. This genre might be common for Telugu audience but a film like Prathinidhi is definitely new.
The Story, dialogues and screenplay are by Anand Ravi a promising new writer. This is his first story and he has come out with a very new concept that hasn't been done before in the Telugu Film line. A lot of thought and analysis on the political system has been done and the dialogues are very intense and leaves you thinking.
Music :
The background scores were powerful and intensive. Since the songs were minimal citing the storyline, regular music went unnoticed.
Plus Points :
1. Intensive Dialogues of Nara Rohit delivered in a modest manner.
2. The entire concept that revolves around the cause of creating awareness to every single individual including politicians
3. The suspense and thrill that prevails throughout the film.
Minus Points :
Prathinidhi is a simple and neat film. One could really not come up with flaws in any area. Music,comedy or action was not required here. Although the movie runs on a monotonous mode, it is still interesting.
Conclusion :
Prathinidhi is a must watch for every responsible citizen. Every individual should watch this movie not to change but at least to know what reality is.
