Realizing his love for Noor, Pracash returns to Yadav's place and gets away with Noor. In the meanwhile, Hawala money of 50 crores gets placed in the Car, Pracash steals from Old City. Being a political background for money Police - Goons start searching for the 50 Crores. Luckily Pracash finds it in the Car before the goons and policemen. How will Pracash get away with the cash and Save Noor forms rest of the storyline?
Analysis :
The story is narrated at an even pace, with some gripping visual work of the Holi. Every nearly every actor sinks into his character and does their job well. There is neither melodrama nor unnecessary dramatics at any point. The love scenes between Nani and Noor lover are well picturized, and Siddhika has a meaty role with scope to
perform. The music fits the scenes and the songs have been well shot. Paisa has made a film which is quite interesting and okay in the first half. But post interval it becomes too melodramatic and looks like a compromise ending. Paisa could have been feel good entertainer if promising screenplay and engaging narration would have added to the film.
TeluguOne Perspective :
Paisa is a coming off age film, the story of the life of adults, seen through the eyes of a teenager. The film took some years to release. The main point of the Paisa is very similar to few of Hawala films. However Krishna Vamsi added a lot of padding with more characters and four groups to track money. Story of the film is very predictable. The point where Krishna Vamsi tries to elevate the Muslim points to help people with 25% of their earning, Sequence elevating the Paisa and Love at the same point. But on the hole Paisa is a mixed bag Where First half is middling and second half runs at an okay pace, filed with enough chases to ensure a small relief. The Climax message is fine but director could have elevated it by showing the point more seriously rather ending it in a casual way. Like making all grey character turn white in seconds. The way Krishna Vamsi utilized over Graphics and Colour Grading spoil the visuals. He could have worked a bit more on the script rather trying to improve cinematographer and editor works.
Performances:
Nani is getting matured with every film. He is really good in his role as Pra-Cash. Catherine Tresa (Iddarammailatho Fame) looks pretty in her role. She is good in her role. Siddhika Sharma doesn't have much role to play except for few songs. Siddhika looks sizzling in the swim suit. Bharath Reddy, Duwasi Mohan, Raja Ravindra did casual roles. Charan Raj got a different character in this film, he elevated few scenes with his rudeness. Tabar is okay with his character. The supporting cast play their respective part convincingly.
Technicalities:
The Photography in the film is neat. But the over usage of Colour Grading fails to please us. The Dialogues in the final are quite casual. But few are good like "Avasaram Anni Nerpisthundi, Pappi Pet ka Sawaal hai", "Lakshmi Devi Entiraelanti Duckaitla deggariki pothundi". Music by Sai Karthik is passable and the picturization could have been better, misses Krishna Vamsi mark. Fights are middling, Holi fight sequence deserve a special mention. Editing in the film is okay. Production values of Yellow Flowers is grand.
Plus Points:
Nani
Music
Message
Minus Points:
Screenplay
Direction
Over Colour Grading
Graphics
Casual Narration
Final Word: Not So Paisa Vasool Entertainer.
Paisa Movie Rating: 2.75/5
