Mega Power Star Ram Charan’s Peddi has registered a huge opening at the worldwide box office. Despite releasing on a working day, the film has reportedly maintained strong occupancies across centres, with Day 2 bookings also remaining encouraging. But the word-of-mouth has been mixed with many targeting director Buchi Babu for his portrayal of Janhvi Kapoor's character. Also, several memes have been going around stating that the movie has no logic and magic did not work too. Mainly, Janhvi's scenes will be problematic for families to watch it in theatres.

Well, thanking audiences for such a huge resposne, Buchi Babu addressed press and stated that he he has been receiving lengthy messages continuously since the premiere shows. He said many families have been watching the film with children and sharing how inspirational they found the story and character. He also stated that he is thrilled to see the kind of response for an inspiring story that Peddi is and he encouraged audiences to watch it with their children in theatres. 

Distributor Mythri Ravi also echoed same sentiment. He stated that he is happy with the occupancies and thrilled to see their predictions come true. He thanked Ram Charan for giving Industry respite after a dry season. He predicted movie to go on and smash many records. 

Producer Satish Kilaru stated that the film received unanimous positive response and they are happy that there is no negativity about the film at any corner. He stated that the film should be watched with kids and families. But the social media posts are saying something completely opposite.
