Bajrang Dal activists stop Ranbir-Alia At Temple?

Ranbir Kapoor's couple had a difficult encounter. In Brahmasta, Ranbir Kapoor and his wife Alia Bhatt co-starred for the first time. The film will be released in theatres globally on September 9. As the film's release date approaches, the production crew is hard at work on promotion. The couple is touring across the country, from north to south.

Today was tense at the Mahakaleshwar temple in Ujjain. Members of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad and the Bajrang Dal joined the agitation. Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are scheduled to go to the Mahakaleshwar temple today.

However, members of the Vishwa Hindu Parisadh and the Bajrang Dal staged a protest earlier. With black flags, they screamed anti-Bollywood couple slogans. The cops used batons to chase away the protesters. Alia and Ranbir landed in Indore without stopping in Mahakaleshwar. The temple was only visited by director Ayan Mukherjee.

According to reports, Bajrang Dal protestors stopped the Ranbir couple to protest their prior comments about eating beef. Alia's comments about liking meat many years ago have caused quite a stir on the internet. Ranbir Singh has stated that he eats beef in addition to mutton and chicken. Ranbir and Alia have angered the Bajrang Dal workers. It is also known that the boycott was linked to Brahmasta.
