Chicken Shami Kebabs
Ingredients :
Set : 1
Boneless meat minced - 1 kg
Chana daal(washed and soaked for an hour) -1 cup
Ginger -1 piece
Garlic cloves-12
Onion -1
Whole red chillies- 3
Black peppercorns -6
Cloves - 3
Cinnamon stick -1 inch Piece
Bay leaves - 2
Salt to taste
Set : 2
For dry roast & grinding
Coriander seeds - 2 tsp
Cummin seeds - 2 tsp
Fennel seeds - 1 tsp
Dry grated coconut - 2 tsp
Poppy seeds - 2 tsp
Set : 3
Onion - 1 big finely chopped
Green Chilies - 2 finely chopped
Coriander leaves - chopped
Mint leaves - chopped
Lemon juice - 1 small lemon
Corn Flour - 3 Table Spoons
Method :
Put all the ingredients under set - 1 in a pan along with water and cook till done. dry it completely. Cool the mixture and grind it to a coarse paste.. Add the masala powder under set -2 mix well ....& now add all chopped ingredients & lemon , corn flour under set -3 into meat mixture....Mix everything thoroughly and shape the kebabs. Shallow fry them in oil on medium heat. Shami Kebabs are ready to relish ..serve them with Tomato ketch up..
