"TAL (Telugu Association of London) as part of ongoing first ever TAL National Badminton championships, recently concluded the competition for East London zone on 24/11/12,Saturday, at Becontree Heath Leisure Centre (Dagenham).

Addressing the players and the gathering,TAL Chairman Mr. Sreedhar Vanam said 'TAL is committed to the well-being of the Telugu community and these championships (first ever at national level all over Britain) should be an inspiration to our Telugu community to take up sports as a 'priority'.Congratulated all players and TAL sports Trustee incharge Sanjay Bhiraju,Sports Sectetary Sabba Ravi Kiran, Eastlondon tournament Co-Ordinators Ganesh Kumar, Balaji Callur and tournament organisers Sudhakar,Bharath,Naren and Pathi for their enthuthiasm and hard work.

A total of 24 teams took part in the event. A total of 8 teams from East-London zone qualified for taking part in the final inter-zone event. National Finals will be held at Slough (Berkshire) on Saturday 8th December."
