Prof. Kodandaram to turn trouble maker for TRS government?

Prof. Kodandaram in his latest speech at a seminar on ‘‘Agriculture Crisis-- Farmers’ Suicides’’ organized by the Economics Department of Osmania University on Friday said that it is time to start a fresh agitation o build confidence in the farmers and stop them from committing suicides. He asked the people to come forward to start the agitation.

However, it is to be noted that he did not blame the previous governments like ruling TRS government is blaming on this issue. He said farmers are suppressed with the globalization, privatization and liberalization policies. So, he seems is disagreeing with TRS government’s arguments in this regard.

His call to people for launching a fresh agitation can be considered challenging the state government. However, if he launches any fresh agitations, it will rage TRS Chief KCR, who is already facing lots of problems from opposition parties on this sensitive issue. If, Prof. Kodandaram ignores to implement his action plan, then he may further lose confidence of the people. So, either way he is inviting troubles. If, he begins fresh agitations on this issue, then CM KCR may make moves to dissolve T-JAC to prevent further problems from it and may ensure Prof. Kodandaram confined to his class rooms in Osmania University.
