TDP-Telangana MLAs are thinking to move a no-confidence motion against Speaker Madhusudhanachary for his discriminatory attitude towards opposition parties. Congress, BJP and TRS ally MIM are also strongly condemning the ruling TRS party bulldozing them in the house.
TDP leader Errabelli Dayakar rao alleges that the Speaker is simply following the Assembly Affairs minister T Harish rao’s orders and not allowing the opposition parties to speak in the house. So, TDP is thinking to move a no confidence motion against the Speaker.
TRS is planning to seek Congress party support to defeat the motion incase if TDP moves it in the house. But, there is no reason to believe that Congress will join hands with the ruling TRS party that is encouraging its MLAs to jump fence.
Whether, the Congress joins hands with TRS or not, it can easily defeat TDP move as it has sufficient strength in the house. Out of the 119 members, TRS has 72, Congress-17, TDP-11, MIM-7, BJP-5, YSR Congress-2, CPI-1 and CPM-1 in the house. MIM is supporting TRS government. Though, it can defeat the no-confidence move, it will send a wrong message that ruling TRS party is not allowing the opposition parties to speak on behalf of the people in the house.
