Sharmila completes 2500km padayatra

YSR Congress party leader YS Sharmila has completed 2500km padayatra on Sunday at Kakarapalli in Tuni constituency of East Godavari district. She begins her padayatra in last year October from Idupulapaya in Kadapa district and ever since has been continuing her padayatra until now. She took a month long break in her padayatra to undergo knee joint operation few months ago.
She is planning to conclude her padayatra at Ichchapuram in Srikakulam district, where she will be crosses 36oo km mark. She has achieved a new record of being the first woman in India, who walks 2500 km distance in one attempt.
On this occasion, Sharmila and her mother Vijayamma have unveiled a 24 feet tall YSR statue at Kakarapalli village. Sharmila addresses a huge public meeting, in which she sharply criticized CM Kiran Kumar Reddy and TDP president Chandrababu Naidu.
