Priyanka Gandhi's husband Robert Vadra who recently received notice by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) for his alleged involvement in a land scam in Bikaner, Rajasthan, has posted on Facebook saying that the government can prove nothing against him and that all allegations being levelled against him are baseless. He said, “Almost a decade of government’s false and baseless accusations on me! They cannot prove anything without proof n there is nothing there to prove,” and added, "I will always be used for political gains, I know … But I will walk with my head held high as in time and with the truth, which will conquer incorrect perceptions, created! about me”.
Sonia Gandhi's son-in-law, Robert Vadra's post comes a day after the Justice S N Dhingra Commission, set up to look into land deals in Haryana - including one between realty major DLF and Vadra's Skylight Hospitality - said on Wednesday that it had completed its investigation.
