Police in K'taka to go on mass leave

Low salaries, duty hours extending up to 15 hours, no leave and harassment by seniors are some of the problems constables face and this has made them to go on a mass leave on June 4th in Karnataka. Home minister G Parameshwara said the government is thinking of increasing salaries of policemen. At the same time, he said strict action will be taken against constables going on mass leave
