Two Hyderabadies still in IS hostage!

Still the fate of two citizens of Hyderabad is hanging in the air as there is no information about their release from ISIS terrorists’ hostage. T Gopikrishna and Balaram Kishan are working as professors in Sirte University in Libya. Their families at Hyderabad are anxiously waiting for the news about their release, ever since Sitre University officials informed them about their abduction by ISIS terrorists.

Gopikrishna is working as assistant professor in computer science and Balaram Kishan is working as English lecturer in the same university. Gopikrishna is from Tekkali in Srikakulam district of Andhra Pradesh. However, his family is settled in Nacharam in Hyderabad. Balaram Kishan family is living at Tirumalagiri in Hyderabad.

ISIS terrorists have kidnapped them while they were returning to India from Sirte on July 29th. Terrorists have released two Indians Lakshmikanth and Vijay Kumar on Friday evening and they both informed their families about their safe release. MEA officials are putting serious efforts for their release. However, so far there is no information about the status.
