Hyderabad: The results of the IIT-JEE 2011 examination have been declared and Hyderabad boy Prudhvi Teja has topped the list of successful candidates.
"I'm very excited and happy. I want to pursue Civil Services in future. I have missed out on a lot of movies lately so will catch up now. It's a dream come true," Teja said.
Over 4.85 lakh students appeared for 9,600 seats in 15 IITs, IT-BHU Varanasi and Indian School of Mine Dhanbad on April 10. The exam was held in 1,051 centres in 131 cities across the country, an official statement said.
The 15 IITs are in Bhubaneshwar, Mumbai, Delhi, Gandhinagar, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Indore, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Chennai, Mandi, Patna, Rajasthan, Roorkee and Ropar in Punjab.
