Compulsory-Education in Telangana

 

On the eve of Teachers Day today, Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar rao addressing the teachers at Hyderabad said that his government is gearing up to implement compulsory education to all the kids in Telangana from next year onwards. He said the government couldn’t start this program from the current year, because it need thorough discussions with educationalists and elaborate arrangements like setting-up new schools in the remote villages. He said that his government is also going to open government English medium schools across the state to make the next generation kids ready to face the world. The other intention is many students, who can’t afford to study in English convents can study here without any fees.
