Committee formed to resolve disputes between AP and Telangana

 

Finally, Union Home Ministry formed a five member committee headed by Alok Kumar, the Joint Secretary of Home Ministry today for resolving the unending disputes between AP and Telangana states over several issues. The committee will have resident commissioners of two states, Andhra Pradesh Finance Ministry Chief Secretary Premchand Reddy and Telangana state Finance Ministry Chief Secretary Ramakrishna Rao as its members. Home Ministry also sets two months deadline for amicably resolving the disputes between two states. This Committee will start its works from Tuesday.
