BJP divided over executive meeting agenda

The three day BJP National executive meetings will commences from today at Goa. The meeting are mainly intended to chalk out an action plan for facing forthcoming Assembly elections of Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, New Delhi in December.

However, BJP is divided on whether to discuss Narendra Modi’s issue in these meetings or not. Senior BJP leaders Sushma Swaraj, Advani and some others are opposing any discussion about Modi take-over of the party leadership as its Prime Ministerial candidate. However, party president Rajnath Singh and few others wants to pass a resolution approving Modi’s candidature.
