Did YCP come to rescue of Basheer Panel?

APNGOs President P Ashok Babu has given call for bandh on January 3rd and also announced a week long schedule for agitations like conducting rallies, human chains, relay hunger strikes etc. in protest against bifurcation of the state starting from 4th January.

It is evident that APNGOs are virtually divided into two groups after YSR Congress enters into them and supported Basheer panel that filed nominations against Ashok Babu Panel in the APNGOs Associations elections to be held on January 5th.

Knowing that Ashok Babu has announced a week long schedule for agitations, YSR Congress party also announces similar schedule. It also gave bandh call for state on 3rd January. YSR Congress might have come to the rescue of its Basheer group to avert embarrassment, who found themselves in fix after Ashok Babu announces week long agitations. They can’t stay away from the agitations as it may create one more split in their group. At the same time, they also can’t obey their rival group leader Ashok Babu’s instructions just ahead of APNGOs association elections that may badly affect their electoral chances.

So, YSRCP has come to their rescue and declared similar action plan that is exactly coincides with Ashok Babu’s schedule. This will also provide YCP gain control to some extent over APNGOs.
