Capital city likely to build on PPP Mode?

The seven hour long cabinet meeting of AP government presided by its Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu was concluded a short while ago.
It was decided that a letter to be written to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on behalf of the AP government requesting for sufficient funds release to the state keeping in view of its odd situation. Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu also will meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi to pursue him on this issue.
The cabinet meeting also considers the option of PPP mode (Private and Government Partnership) for constructing the capital city, in case if the Center doesn’t release sufficient funds in time. Final decision will be taken in this regard after seeing the response of the Center.
The cabinet has approved the proposal for creating 10 lakh acres of land bank for setting up industries in the state. Collectors will be entrusted with this task of identifying one lakh acres of vacant government lands in each district.
The meeting decides to felicitate farmers at Thullur on 21st March for cooperating with the state government in its land acquisition process. Hence, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and other ministers will officially celebrate Ugadi festival at Thullur this year. The ministers also discussed about the strategy to be adopted in the Assembly budget sessions that begins from March 7th.
