A pathetic situation has taken place in the terror effected Jammu and Kashmir. Several persons, with militant links, are now in the key jobs in the state government. They could get the jobs in Kashmir Administrative Service, police department and also in the judiciary department.
Speaking to the media, a senior officer in the government, on the condition of anonymity, admitted the condition. The matter has come to light with the case of former deputy chief of Al-Jehad who was topped the examination for the posts of district and sessions judge this year. The CID department of the state had expressed some doubts in him on having right character.
Some petitions were also filed in the court against giving him the job. More pathetic is the fact that the militant is demanding that he be given the post as some more persons with the militant links were given the jobs earlier.
In the state, one person who abducted the close relative of Union minister Gulam Nabi Azad, another who served the jail term and one militant, who was trained in making improvised explosive devices are now in some of the top jobs in the Government of Jammu and Kashmir.
