Garlic Fried Rice



Basmati rice                                   - 1 cup
Garlic                                               - 4 cloves finely chopped
Ginger                                              - 1/2 " finely chopped
Mixed Vegetables                       - Capsicum, Carrot, Cabbage, Onion: 1 cup finely chopped  
Spring onions                                   - 1 tbsp finely chopped
Soya sauce                                       - 3/4 tbsp
Tomato ketchup                                -3/4 tbsp
Pepper powder                                 - 1/2 tsp
Salt to taste


First cook rice and keep it aside. Now heat oil in a kadhai, add chopped ginger and garlic and saute till raw smell leaves. Now add the spring onion and chopped onion, saute for few minutes. Then add all veggies and saute for 2 minutes. Then on low flame cook for 5 minutes. Now add the soya sauce, tomato sauce, pepper powder and salt to taste, mix well. Add the cooked rice and mix it well. Let it cook for a few minutes and switch off the flame. Now serve it hot with ketchup.
