Nine killed in Terrorists attacks on Police station in Punjab

Seven police and two home guards were killed in a deadly attack by terrorists on a police station in Deena Nagar in Gurudaspur district of Punjab state on Monday morning. Terrorists also planted five bombs on railway track between Gurudaspur and Patankot railway stations. However, security personal seized the bombs and defused them in time. The militants are wearing military uniforms and carrying most modern weapons.
First, they opened fire on a bus that was going to Amritsar. One passenger was killed in their attacks. Later, they seized a Maruti car belongs to a hotel manager in Gurudaspur and reached the police station at Deena Nagar. Then they barged into police station while firing discriminately on the police. All the police persons on duty including two home guards were reportedly killed on the spot. State government has rushed additional forces to the spot soon after knowing about this incident. Special protection Commando groups were also rushed to the location immediately.
According to available information, there are around 7-10 militants take part in this attack. Currently, a heavy gun fighting is continuing between militants and security personals.
