Theatres are like temple to me - Allu Arjun

Allu Arjun came out in front of press to counter allegations leveled by CM Revanth Reddy. In Telangana Assembly, Revanth Reddy made allegations that even though police denied permission on 4th December night and even stated that Allu Arjun acted inhumane when police asked him to leave. 


Countering to these allegations, Allu Arjun stated, "I never even in my wildest dream and nightmare I would want someone to be effected while watching my film. i work in films to entertain people and I can't imagine someone being hurt watching my film. My life ambition is to entertain people and not to hurt them, I want to win hearts." 


He continued to say, "Theatres are like a temple to me and I wanted to see audience reactions to my film. Hence, I went to watch premiere." He stated that police were controlling the crowd assembled there at Sandhya theatre and if they would have told him, there was no permission, he would have gone back. 

 


Allu Arjun continued to say that when police asked him to leave, he immediately left, leaving his kids behind. He further clearly stated that after knowing that someone died, he wanted to meet them personally and wanted to support them. As the family filed a case against him, he is unable to till date. 


He classified it as an "unfortunate accident" and as it was a make or break moment for him, he wanted to watch the movie as he worked three years on the film. Finally, he stated that he is not blaming anyone but clearly called comments from CM as "false allegations". He also stated that 2 yards before the theatre, he waved at them but he did not conduct any roadshow. He tried to clear the crowd by waving but did not tried to showcase his strength with any procession. 


He also stated that theatre management asked him to leave but not police as being told. He stated that the management stated that there was some issue with crowd and hence, he walked out.
