We all know that, Tamil star hero Suriya was approached to play an important role as Gemini Ganesan in legendary actress Savitri’s biopic titled Mahanati. There were reports that, Surya asked to make few changes to script. However, latest reports suggest that, Surya has said no to the project, owing to controversies surrounding Gemini Ganesan.
If Surya has accepted the film, buzz would be multiplied on the project. Unfortunately, he rejected the project as not to face any controversy. Makers are still in search of the actor to play Gemini Ganesan. Will they opt to pick a noted face or an upcoming artist for the role?
While Keerthy Suresh will be playing the Mahanati Savitri, Samantha Ruth Prabhu is on board to play a crucial role in the film to be directed by Nag Ashwin.
