2 Indian actors in Forbes's Highest-paid Cele

Forbes's world's 100 highest-paid celebrities of 2016 is out and it has two Indians in the list. And it is none other than the King Khan, Shah Rukh Khan and Khiladi Kumar- Akshay Kumar. Shah Rukh was reported to have earned of USD 33 million, which gave him 86th place, while Khiladi Kumar was placed 94th, with earnings of USD 31.5 million. Forbes said about SRK, that "he continues to rule Bollywood's box office and with lead roles in hit films and also earns multimillion dollars upfront fees and a cut of the backend for his efforts. He also cashes in on endorsement deals for dozens of brands most Americans have likely never heard of".
Akshay, 48, however slipped in ranks this year from 76th in 2015, Forbes said adding that he is one of Bollywood's busiest leading men and banked top rupee for three hit films. The Forbes list was topped by Taylor Swift, with USD 170 million, while the British boy band One Direction were placed on the second spot with earnings of USD 110 million. The list also includes author James Patterson on the 3rd spot followed by Real Madrid footballer Cristiano Ronaldo in 4th spot, basketball player LeBron James in 11th place and musician Madonna in the 12th spot.
