Telugu audience might now be acquainted with Nivetha Pethuraj. She was seen as heroine in very much acclaimed Telugu movie ‘Mental Madilo’. Nivetha has yet again visited Telugu industry through the dubbed movie ‘Tik Tik Tik’. Despite mixed responses to the movie, critics are praising the acting of Nivetha in the movie. During a recent interview, Nivetha has revealed a bitter experience of her. She is said to have faced sexual abuse at a very early age of five years. She requested for community participation to prevent such incidents- “We cannot completely depend on the police force. Yes, they do help us. But, we have to believe in ourselves and people around us as well to secure our safety. It is because I’m always wary of everyone when I go out. We can avoid this thing, It is wrong,” she said.
