on Aug 29, 2017
King Akkineni Nagarjuna turns 58 today, though he still looks very young. He appears like an elder brother to his two sons Naga Chaitanya and Akhil. Interestingly, Nagarjuna is doing different films. The very next film of Nag is Raju Gari Gadhi 2 which is being directed by Ohmkar.
Soggade Chinni Nayana directed by Kalyan Krishna is a very special film in Nagarjuna’s career. The film which raked around Rs 50 crores for full run provided much needed break for Nag when he was going through tough times with flops.
Nagarjuna then announced to act in a sequel to SCN which will be based on characterization of Bangarraju. Director Kalyan Krishna whose second film Rarandoi Veduka Chudham with Naga Chaitanya was a commercial hit prepared and narrated Bangarraju story to Nagarjuna recently.
Nonetheless, Nagarjuna who wasn’t too pleased with the script said firm no to Kalyan and he also suggested to come up with a fresh script, rather than a sequel to SCN. Hence, Kalyan has no option now other than preparing a new script for Nag.
