Megastar Chiranjeevi ruled Tollywood as number one hero for ages, until he took a big break after Shankar Dada Zindabad. Chiru’s younger brother Power Star Pawan Kalyan replaced his place to enjoy number one slot. A big debate going in Tollywood circles regarding fresh number one of the industry. In fact, mega fans divided into two to support their favorite hero.
Chiranjeevi recently made comeback with Khaidi No 150 which has turned out as second biggest grosser in Telugu after Baahubali: The Beginning. The VV Vinayak directed film minted over Rs 100 cr share. Satellite rights of the film were sold for whopping Rs 12 crores.
Pawan Kalyan whose last film Sardaar Gabbar Singh was a flop and is doing a remake film Katamarayudu, is no reach to any other actor in Tollywood, in terms of craze and market. As per reports, Gemini TV acquired Katamarayudu satellite rights for 12.5 crores and crossed Khaidi No 150 figure.
