Kamal Haasan slams Mohanlal

Till now Mohanlal is highly revered as a great Malayalam actor who has even won the national award for his performance. But things began to turn sour after his becoming the leader of movie artists association of Malayalam (AMMA). Mohanlal’s decision to take back the controversial actor Dileep is causing a huge roar in the south Indian film industry. Dileep is well known as a culprit in the sexual assault case of heroine Bhavana. Mohanlal’s indirect backing of Dileep is strongly condemned by more than 100 members of Malaylam industry. Actors like Amala Akkineni has even walked out of the association.
Now Kamal Haasan to joined the row. “Dileep should have been taken back only after a discussion. I support the stand taken by the WCC,” Kamal told Manorama News. He further targeted Mohanlal for the decision - “Mohanlal is a dear friend of mine ... but that doesn’t imply that I need to say good things about him,’’ said the super star.
