Review: ISM
Director Puri Jagannath is one of the most talented persons. Even though he concentrates on mass movies his stories attract each and every type of individual. Showing heroism is one of the main highlights in his movies. He usually focuses on how to elevate the hero but not on the script, story and on other important things. Let us see if Puri rectified this mistake with his film “ISM” or not?
Cast and Crew
Hero Kalyan Ram has been casted to play the lead role in the film in which actor Jagapathi Babu played a key role. Actress Aditi Arya has been casted against Kalyan as the female lead in the film which has been released on NTR Arts banner
Story
Kalyan Ram (Kalyan Ram) earns money by working as an illegal fighter in an island situated near Bangkok. Mafiya Don Jawed Bhai (Jagapathi Babu) who scares the entire world turns the same island into his base camp. Jawed’s daughter Alia (Aditi Arya) wants to marry a person who can scare his father. Alia meets Kalyan who forces her to love him. She falls for Kalyan slowly. Alia gets to know that Kalyan does all of this so as to nab his father. Kalyan’s original name is Satya Marthand who works as a journalist. To know the link between Satya Marthand and Jawed Bhai one should watch the film.
Talent of the cast
Kalyan Ram has got to play a different role for the first time. The story of the film is not unique and Puri directed it in the same old way. Aditi looked glamorous but her characterization is not that great. Jagapathi Babu got an average role, Posani got a regular role and Ali couldn’t entertain the audience with his role.
Technology
Anoop and all the other technicians worked hard but couldn’t achieve the expected result. Cinematography was good and no other locations were left to shoot in Bangkok. Puri’s direction couldn’t attract the audience and as a writer his work was average.
