Bhairava Geetha was released in Karnataka one week back(7th Dec). There might have been censor issues or might be issues with theatre, the movie was delayed by a week for the Telugu Audience. “Bhairava Geetha” did not receive a very huge success in Karnataka as well. The movie was not promoted well in Telugu. RGV was only tweeting about the cinema saying ‘Good movies do not require publicity, the audience will spread a word of mouth’. But can we suggest others to see the cinema? Let us read the review.
Story:
Unrest increases in a Rayalaseema village as Bhairav, a modest henchman of a leader Subbareddy’s daughter Geetha fall in love. When this story is heard by everyone, a revolution starts in Rayalaseema village, where they feel a person should be recognized based on merit and not merely on the basis of caste.
Analysis:
Bhairav and his forefathers have been working with the landlords with great loyalty. But still they do not have anything to boast about monetarily. Here the director projects the inequality in the village along with the love story. But neither the inequality nor the love story has been portrayed well.
Plus Points:
Rayalaseema Locations
Story, Cinematography
Some conversations in Rayalseema Slang
Minus Points:
Hero, Heroine
Love Track
Screenplay, Direction
Editing, Music
Performance:
During the beginning of the film, hero is seen working in the heroine’s house. But the moment when the hero fires back at the landlord, audience get goose bumps. But Dhananjay lacks stardom and thus did not attract the audience. With one or two expressions, hero has acted in the entire movie. While the others have over acted.
Finally: The RGV fans can enjoy the movie. But for others it may not
