on Oct 12, 2017

Comedian Dhanraj graced Alitho Saradaga chit chat show along with his close friend and actor Nalla Venu recently. Both the comedians revealed many interesting facts about their struggles in career starting stages.

As we all know, Dhanraj turned producer with a comedy film Dhanalakshmi Talupu Tadithe. The actor had invested all his hard earned money of Rs 50 lakhs on the film which incurred him massive losses.

Thankfully, Dhanraj has settled all his debts and is now a relaxed man. He was expected to be one of the tough contenders for Bigg Boss winner trophy. However, he failed to reach even finale owing to fight with Mumaith Khan.

When Ali asked Dhanraj how much money he has in his account, the latter replied him saying, “I’ve nearly 31 lakhs in my account and I’m very much happy now.” Dhanraj also informed that he may produce films in future, but not right now.

Dhanraj also revealed reason for cancellation of a comedy film with actress Manchu Lakshmi. Many then reported that, Manchu Lakshmi didn’t show any interest to act with Dhanraj.

Condemning the reports, Dhanraj said, “Producer gave advances to all the actors and technicians. He expected distributors to come and invest on the film after its launch. Actually, we didn’t know about this then. He indeed told this after the movie was launched. With no option left, we simply shelved the project.”

Interim, Dhanraj is busy with good number of projects in Telugu.
