Aashiqui 3 star cast confirmed!

The 'Aashiqui' franchise has done extremely well at the box office. The sequel to the original film had Shraddha Kapoor make her foray into films and Aditya Roy Kapoor starring alongside her. With the film becoming a blockbuster hit the expectations from Aashiqui 3 are skyrocketing. Earlier there were reports that Hrithik Roshan was supposed to star in the third instalment of the film but things did not work out. Then came in news that Alia will be starring in the movie with Alia's uncle Mukesh Bhatt, who is also co-producing the film, even confirming that the 23-year-old actress would be doing the movie. Though the makers stayed tightlipped on rumours that Alia's alleged beau Sidharth Malhotra will be the hero of the film, news is that Sid has be finalised to play the lead along with Alia. Mohit Suri, the director of the film said, “Since it is part of the Aashiqui franchise, Alia is playing a singer”. News also has it that Aashiqui 3’s script is being penned by none other than Alia’s elder sister, Shaheen Bhatt.
