Home  »  News  »  Select Your Favorite Babai - Abbai Pair

Updated : Mar 10, 2012

Tollywood is not new to family legacy. We have fathers, grandfathers, etc. taking center stage in film industry. However, there’s yet another interesting relation that our heroes value - Babai.

We’ve often seen Jr. NTR uttering words like ‘Maa Thatha garu’, ‘Maa Babai’, etc. marking his respect for them. Understandably so since the young tiger comes from a family that’s a power house in Tollywood. Often Babai Balayya is spotted with Abbai Jr. NTR for each other’s audio release functions and other private get-togethers.

We may not see Mega Power Star Ram Charan chanting about ‘Babai’ power star Pawan Kalyan. However, Ram Charan does not miss anything or forget to wish Pawan Kalyan at the time of the latter’s audio or movie release. What’s more, it was Kalyan Babai who drove Abbai Ram Charan for his engagement ceremony.

Daggubati Rana’s first movie was ‘Leader’ (2010) and he already impressed everyone. But before that, he carries several privilege tags as grandson of Movie Moghul Rama Naidu, son of dynamic producer Suresh Babu, etc. But topping all is his on-screen and off screen resemblance with his uncle (Babai) Victory Venkatesh. Several critics felt that Rana’s body language, voice modulation look like Venkatesh. Is Rana inspired by Venkatesh? Perhaps!

And so who do you think is the best Babai – Abbai pair? I think Balayya and NTR!
