Updated : Jun 6, 2026

Ram Pothineni’s upcoming project #RAPO23 has added a key name to its technical team with cinematographer Tirru officially coming on board. The film is particularly notable as it marks Ram’s debut as both writer and director.

Announced earlier with Ram introducing his character Veera, the film is being described as a psychological action thriller set against a neo-noir backdrop. While the makers had already hinted at a visually driven approach, the addition of Tirru gives a clearer idea of the direction the team is aiming for.

Tirru is known for his strong visual language and ability to build atmosphere through lighting and framing. His filmography across industries and National Award recognition make him one of the more established cinematographers currently working in Indian cinema.

Produced by Krishna Pothineni under the newly launched Rapo Cinematics banner, #RAPO23 is being positioned as an emotional action drama with the tagline The Story of a Lone Wolf. With the cinematographer now locked, attention will shift to the rest of the cast and technical crew announcements in the coming weeks.
