Updated : May 6, 2026

Prime Video has officially announced May 22 as the worldwide premiere date for its upcoming Prime Original film System, a gripping courtroom thriller that dives deep into the clash between power and justice. Directed by Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari and produced by Harman Baweja, Pammi Baweja, and Smitha Baliga under Baweja Studios, the film promises an intense narrative that questions privilege, truth, and the true meaning of justice. The film will stream globally across 240+ countries and territories.

System features powerful performances from Sonakshi Sinha, Jyotika, and Ashutosh Gowariker in lead roles, supported by a strong ensemble cast including Preeti Agarwal, Adinath Kothare, Aashriya Mishra, Gaurav Pandey, and Sayandeep Gupta. The story follows Neha Rajvansh, a privileged public prosecutor, and Sarika Rawat, a humble stenographer, whose unlikely alliance leads them to uncover buried injustices—challenging the very system they operate in.

Written by Harman Baweja, Arun Sukumar, Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari, Tasneem Lokhandwala, and Akshat Ghildial, the film blends emotional depth with legal drama, delivering a thought-provoking cinematic experience. With themes of ambition, ethics, and truth at its core, System is set to engage audiences with its layered storytelling and compelling performances when it premieres exclusively on Prime Video this May 22.
