Updated : May 6, 2026

Nara Rohith has always carved a distinct niche for himself in Telugu cinema with his interesting script choices and his willingness to explore a diverse range of genres. Today marks another significant step in his career as his latest project, tentatively titled #RN23, officially went on floors with a formal launch ceremony. Moving away from heavy, intense dramas, the actor seems to be shifting his focus toward a lighter, more relatable space.

This new venture is being billed as a wholesome romantic comedy and family entertainer. It is the fifth production from Karan C Productions LLP, bankrolled by Bharath Chowdary. Interestingly, Rohith is once again placing his trust in fresh talent by collaborating with debutant director Chinimilli Manikumar, who has also penned the story and screenplay for the film.

The official launch today sets the wheels in motion for a project that aims to strike a chord with both youth and family audiences. For an actor who has built a reputation on unconventional narratives, stepping into a vibrant family drama offers a refreshing change of pace. With the regular shoot expected to commence soon, the industry will be watching closely to see how this new creative partnership translates onto the big screen.
