Who discovered Amarnath? Few say that, it was discovered by a Muslim shepherd in 1850. But, as per historians, Bhrigu Muni was the first to have discovered Amarnath.
A long time ago the valley of Kashmir was drowned under water and Kashyapa Muni drained it through a series of rivers and rivulets. Therefore, when the waters drained, Bhrigu Muni was the first to have darshan of Lord Amarnath.
Few days ago, terrorists attacked Amarnath Yatra bus and killed Hindu pilgrims. Bollywood actress Dia Mirza who hails from Hyderabad wrote a tweet in which she actually did not condemn the attack or show disgrace towards the terrorists.
Dia Mirza Tweet reads: ""Amarnath was discovered by a Muslim shepherd, Buta Malik, in 1850." Has been a symbol of shared community, respect, and love. #MyIndia."
Instead of showing concern for the deceased and condemning the barbaric attack, Dia Mirza tried to sympathize with the Muslim community to control the damage. What's more, she re-tweeted an article which says a Muslim driver's presence of mind and courage prevented an even bigger tragedy.
This is indeed not the first time for Dia Mirza to make anti-Hindu statement. Earlier she made controversial comments on Hindu's festival Holi. She then said, "The irony of the times we live in: farmers commit suicide due to drought and people waste water to 'play' #Holi. Go ahead call me anti-Hindu."
Twitterati slammed actress Dia Mirza for her shameful tweet. Here are few tweets:
* Great , damage control. But won't condemned terrorist attack by muslims on Hindu pilgrimage?
* Dia mirza mother was a Hindu n had Muslim father. This is how islam turns Future hindu kids into Islam followers.
