Updated : Jun 29, 2026

Eight years after Ee Nagaraniki Emayyindi went on to become a cult favourite among Telugu audiences, its much-awaited sequel, ENE Repeat, has finally locked its theatrical release date. The makers have announced that the film will hit cinemas on November 19, marking the next chapter in the beloved friendship saga.

The release date was unveiled through a visually intriguing announcement video featuring the original gang—Vishwak Sen, Abhinav Gomatham, Maganti Srinath and Venkatesh Kakumanu. Unlike the carefree energy associated with the first film, the four friends are seen travelling through the lush forests of Thailand in a vintage Cadillac, with the iconic friendship anthem from Prema Desam playing in the background. Interestingly, the characters remain silent and appear unusually serious, hinting that the sequel could explore a different emotional tone.

The announcement has further raised curiosity, especially as the original film earned a loyal fan base for its relatable humour, memorable characters and road-trip narrative. With writer-director Tharun Bhascker returning to helm the sequel, expectations are naturally high among fans eager to see the gang reunite on screen.

The film is currently progressing at a brisk pace, with production underway. Anisha Ambrose and Shivathmika Rajasekhar play the female leads, while producers Srujan Yarabolu and Sandeep Nagireddy are backing the project on a larger scale than its predecessor.
