Megastar Chiranjeevi was supposed to attend his nephew Allu Arjun's DJ- Duvvada Jagannadham audio release function which was held yesterday. However, he couldn't make it to the event much disappointment for mega fans. Actually, Chiranjeevi attended Dasari Narayana Rao condolences event hold by industry biggies couple of days ago. He felt bad for not attending last rites of Dasari whom he devotes as his mentor. In fact, Chiru was in China along with his 80's friends, so he couldn't attend Dasari funeral.

Chiranjeevi thought it wouldn't be a good choice attending DJ audio function, just after attending Dasari condolences meeting. So, he decided to skip the event at the last moment. As per insiders, Chiranjeevi promised Allu Arjun to attend DJ pre release function to be organized on 18th of this month whether in Vyzag or in Hyderabad.

It may be mentioned here that, Chiru was chief guest at Bunny's last movie Sarrainodu pre release function and we know how big hit the film scored at box office. Allu Arjun and his fans hope Chiru's sentiment will repeat for DJ which is slated to hit the screens on 23rd of this month.
